Search option not available on AMS webpage

User is complaining that She/he  is no longer able to search a SOF using the search function in AMS page

 

In JIRA please use the component - "Browser setup" and Labels "Search issues"

Step-by-step guide

Explain this below to user

Unfortunately the issue the user is facing is something that a small subset of our users have been experiencing on AMS. Our IT development teams have not yet found a solution to this.

There are some workarounds which will help get to the desired record.

However, we do not have a quick fix for the problem.

Then do :

  1. Make sure you choose "browser Setup " as e component

  2. Add "Search_Issue" as label

  3. Check with the User if he is using the correct browser ( IE) and required version

  4. Check if www.ams.savethechildren.net is added on compatibility view

  5. If it is still not working advise user to use the filter from the award tab filters as workaround , he will need to go in the award tab filter by office or any other field to retrieve the sof
