Scheme of Delegation Field Definitions

The table below outlines the SoD fields captured in AMS and their associated meanings/ definitions with examples. This is of use for AMS Application Owners when setting up or editing Schemes of Delegation in the system.

Partner Agreement CD Amount

3,000,000

This amount refers to the amount the CD can delegate PA amounts to nominated members of the SMT (there is a default person, but the value applied is to the related group). In the example case, the CD can delegate Partner Agreement approvals below the value of $3 million. In a given office the amount that members of the SMT Partner agreement approvers group can approve is further limited on the OrgUnit record (which indicates the amount that is actually delegated in that office.)

Partner Agreement RD Amount

3,000,000

This amount refers to the amount that will trigger the need for RD approval. In this example, the CD can approve up to but not including $3 million. Anything above this amount will need RD approval.

Partner Agreement HQ Amount

 

This amount refers to the amount that will trigger the need for HQ approval.
(A blank field indicates no upward approval is required.)

Partner Agreement CD Percentage

10%

This refers to the % of the changes made in amendments to the PA amount that the CD can delegate approval for. In this example, the CD can delegate approval for changes in the Partner Agreement amount up to 10%.

Partner Agreement RD Percentage

20%

This refers to the % of the changes made in amendments to the PA amount that the RD must approve. In this example the RD must approve changes in the Partner Agreement amount of 20% and above.

30%

This refers to the % of the changes made in amendments to the PA amount that HQ must approve. In this example HQ must approve changes in the Partner Agreement amount of 30% and above.

This refers to the amount that the CD can delegate approval for when there has been a change made in an amendment to the PA amount. In this example, the CD can delegate approval for changes in the Partner Agreement amount up to $50k.

This refers to the amount that triggers RD approval when changes have been made in an amendment to the PA amount. In this example, the RD must approve changes in the Partner Agreement amount of $500k and above.

Award RD Amount

This refers to the award amount that would trigger the need for HQ approval. In this example, anything above $5 million would require HQ approval.

ED can delegate in relation to the changes made in amendments to the Award amount. In this example the CD can delegate any changes changes in total Award amount below $100k.

This refers to the changes made in amendments to the award amount  that will trigger the need for an RD approver. In this example the RD must approve changes in total Award amount of $3 million and above.

This refers to the changes made in amendments to the award duration that the CD can delegate approval for. In this example the CD can delegate change of Award duration up to 2 months.

This refers to the changes made in amendments to the award duration  that will trigger the need for RD approval.

HQ Duration Months

 

This refers to the changes made in amendments to the award duration  that will trigger the need for HQ approval.

CD Duration Percentage

This refers to the percentage of the changes made in amendments to the award duration that the CD can delegate. In this example, the CD can delegate up to 10% of change in Award duration.
