User Cannot log in to AMS

There could be several issues as to why the user cannot log into AMS. See below:

  1. If a user has never been added to AMS/ used AMS before then they will not show up in the Users list on AMS. They will need to be added to AMS via the permissions groups which the AMS Champion of the relevant office can do

2. One of the issues relating to AMS RP launch is:

  • User has no azure unique ID and account is enabled as 'no' (see screenshot below).

  • To find this info about the user account, go to 'Admin' > 'Users and groups' > 'Users' and search for their name. 

  • If the user's account is in this state then assign ticket to Level 3, Peter Stanton. 

 

 

 

User will get below error when trying to access AMS: refer to AMSIII-13 as an example. 

3. If user has Azure ID and account enabled is "No" please assign to L2 they will set to"Yess"

4.Another reason could be that they do not have permissions on AMS (but they have the azure id and enabled as 'yes). In this case direct them to the AMS Champion who can give them this access.
