Linking and Archiving PRIME projects to Awards.

Linking Projects - Awards

When offices are live with CAPP, they will be creating their projects in the PRIME system, not AMS. These projects will be imported into AMS and need to be manually linked to the relevant award(s) in AMS.

Please refer to page 4 of Quick Guide A.19– Managing PRIME Projects in AMS for information on how and when to link/archive PRIME projects from Awards in AMS and also the Quick Guide A.20 - Linking & Archiving PRIME projects to awards for conditions which may present user being able to link/archive award-project relationship based on the stage/status of award and/or project.

Archiving Projects -Awards

If a user wants to archive a project-award relationship on an ACTIVE/Pre close out award only those with AMS 'Application Owner' permissions are able to carry out this task.

L1 upon reviewing a ticket for archiving of project-award relationship, please check:

  • Status of award is Active or Pre Close Out - otherwise user should be able to archive themselves.

  • They should confirm that no cost postings have been made against the project that has been requested to be delinked from the award.

  • If they say that cost has being posted then that needs to be reallocated before we delink the relationship.
