Updating Donor Record
Scenario 1: User does not have option to edit Donor Record
Resolution: Donor record can only be added or updated by the Funding Office Super users, so the user should contact their AMS Champion
Scenario 2: User wants system rights to create or edit Donor record.
Resolution: Donor records can only be edited or created by the Super user of the funding office, if some wants to have that right the Champion needs to approve. The user also needs to be trained as Super User (by their champion or AMS team, always check with L2 on this)
Scenario 3: User is not appearing to be selected as "Account Manager Point Person" on the Donor record
Resolution: For someone to be added as an "Account Manager Point Person" they should be part of any of the user groups of that Funding Office (Even adding them to the Reader's Group of that FO would allow that user to be selected )
Scenario 4: User requests adding or removing the donor to the Global Health Assistance Network (GHA)
Resolution: The request needs to come from Super Users of the requesting office, and then assigned to L2 for the donor to be tagged as Part of the Global Health Assistance Network. L2 in cases of removing the donor from the GHA network, please inform the user of the impact that this will have on any existing awards where that donor is present (see: GHA Comments and Assessment - AMS - Confluence)
Scenario 5: If a user requests changes to be made to a non-account managed donor (i.e., a donor where the HQ is not located in a SC Member country, and no Member has applied to be the Account Manager for e.g., a donor in France, Saudi Arabia etc.), the following steps are to be followed by L2
Resolution:
L1: Assign to L2
L2: Provide the below guidance to the user:
Check the awards under this donor (open or closed), and reach out to the AMS Champion of the funding office of those awards to discuss the changes to be made
If the donor is located in a country where SCI has presence, reach out to the Country Office AMS champion as a first point of entry.
Alternately, check the version history and check the user that created the donor and signpost the changes to be made (Name, Location, etc.)
