Enabling a user that has been disabled on AMS

If a user has been disabled on AMS and now we have a request to enable it again, assign the ticket to L2 and they need to follow the below steps: 

  • Add permissions to the user and refresh the page, and the user's account shall be enabled 

  • If the user keeps on getting disabled even after adding new permissions and refreshing the page, follow the below steps: 

    • Contact IT Global support and make sure the Azure unique id of the user is active in the Azure Directory of SCI

    • Once you have their confirmation, go to the user's page and click on edit 

    • Click on the search icon next to the 'Azure unique id and select the new Azure unique id

    • Save the record

    • Go to the three dots next to the 'Edit' button and click on 'Synch' 

    • Refresh the page 

    • The user should be enabled now
