Changes in the CAM tab - CAM acceptance status

Symptom:

Users will request AMS Support to change the CAM acceptance status

Cause:

CAM acceptance status can be modified by the users themselves before the Agreement workflow starts. (At Opportunity and Proposal stage). Once a SOF is active the ‘CAM acceptance status’ cannot be edited.

Solution:

After a SOF is active, the ‘CAM acceptance status’ can be changed via an amendment workflow. However, there are instances where the CAM acceptance status of a SOF cannot be changed via an amendment and this is when the SOF is providing CAM support to another SOF.

(TOP TIP: If the status field is locked, hover your mouse over the lock icon which shows the reason why the status cannot be changed)

On the detail tab (screenshot below) it will specify the awards that are being provided CAM support. For the user to be able to change the ‘CAM acceptance status’ of an award that is providing CAM support to another award, the award that is receiving the support will have to be amended. In the case below, SOF 72400161 CAM allocation details will need to be amended so it is not being provided CAM support.

Once the SOF which the user needs to change the status for is not providing CAM support to another award then the user can run the ‘CAM adjustment’ amendment type which will require CD approval.
